The place to visit for that special home for your pet.  You simply cannot have too large an area for your pet to live in.

A wonderful site which answers all those How questions on pet care.
Worth a visit.

PETS ARE FOR LIFE NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS. Before purchasing a pet you should really be sure that you know everything you need to know about it's care and understand the commitment and responsibility you are taking on, not forgetting the financial implications.

One of the most rewarding things about having a pet is giving it liberty and freedom whenever you can, especially if it is confined for a great part of its life in a caged environment, and knowing it is happy as a result of this.  Obviously, the larger a home the better. I discovered this by accident when I let my Russian Hamsters have the run of the conservatory knowing that it was escape proof and free from danger (electric wires, etc.).  In the mornings I would check their cages to ensure they were all safe and, 99% of the time, they were all asleep in their nest boxes, happy to be back 'home', which proved to me that if an animal is happy in its environment it will not continually try to escape it.

It is also nice if your pet can have a companion. Obviously, if companions are of the same species but of opposite sex, it will be prudent to have one or both of them neutered to avoid the worry of what to do with their resulting offspring.  It is very rewarding watching the interaction between the companions and it takes some pressure off you to humour, entertain and stimulate your pet.

If you would love to have the pleasure of a Pet but do not want the full-time responsibility or commitment, for whatever reason, why not become a Pet Sitter.

If you cannot find the things you want for your pet, why not visit the Pet Care Products page and look for those special items in the comfort of your own home.
